ABOUT

I have moved to London summer 2023 and I am itching to meet and play live music with other great musicians. Drumming is my main passion outside of work, which is a standard 9 to 5 job so evenings and weekends are available and practicing once or twice a week and playing at the weekend is what I would be looking for firstly.

I am not set on one style so am interested in many options. The styles I have played most before are Funk, Soul, Jazz and Rock and I would probably enjoy these most. Other genres that I would play would be Pop, Blues, Country, Indie Rock and Hard Rock but again am very open.

I had a very active function band in Bristol throughout my time at university. We played funk and soul and disco classic party tunes and also did jazz standards sets at parties that wanted it. I have played in front of audiences up to 1500 people at events. I would be keen to play cover songs or originals in a function band, but would particularly love to find some musicians that I gelled with to make music with.

EQUIPMENT

I have a couple of snares for different sounds/styles and a selection of cymbals. I also have a kick pedal and I can take these all to gigs/practice.

I practice on a Roland electric kit in my flat and can record it.

I have a Pearl Reference kit that I could use for gigs but it's not currently with me in London. I dont have a car or means to transport more than the breakables.
