Black Adam was formed in 2005, in the pitch black Westhoughton night. Just a little after 2.00am. Having missed the latest bandwagon as it drove out of town - a ride they were happy to miss. Black Adam made a cool list. Drawing on influences like Pearl Jam, S.O.A.D, Led Zepplin and the Mark Lanegan Band. They distilled this heady and intoxicating mix into a sound purely their own; and adding quality control to make sure...it's good.

According to the Metro news paper Black Adam play "pure rock and roll"

Mr Fantastic Richard Reed, says "Black Adam are at least as good as Pearl Jam.

It's not about Fortune, it's not about glory. It's not a sprint, it's a marathon. When everyone else has burnt out and faded away, Black Adam will still be making good music and producing tight performances.

We have been together for 3 years. But due to poor luck we've found oursleves without a drummer for the past 12 months. which means we havent played that many gigs as BlackAdam.
