I'm in the process of forming a band to play acoustic/folk music in the Cardiff area.
The band will consist of probably 2 guitars (I'm one) plus fiddle and pipe/flute. Also possibly bass and percussion. It will depend on who joins me. I sing but need at least 2 of the other musicians to manage vocals. One female voice at least.
The band will play traditional and contemporary folk, as well as original music of those members who would like to write. The balance would be 50/50.
The aim is to play at local venues in the S. Wales area. Musicians need to be reasonably confident - not beginners - with a good ear.

Influences:

Traditional folk and Celtic in general. Also contemporary folk/acoustic.
