ABOUT

I am trying to find a home as a drummer. If any of you require a drummer for your band please send me a message and if possible a website so I can listen to your material.

The bands/musicians that have been influential in my formative years are wide and varied, but narrowing down my 2 biggest influences I would have to say Neil Peart/Rush and Mike Portnoy/Dream Theater. I do love Prog Rock/Metal but I have played in a lot of different genres from Death Metal to Grunge to Rock to Pop/Rock in amateur recording and gigging settings.

What Rush and Dream Theater have done is help me realise the endless possibilities that are available musically, thematically and lyrically. I am not necessarily looking to play in a progressive band, but I am looking to play in a band who do want to progress and enjoy creative input from someone who has more to offer than just basic timekeeping functions.

I have all the equipment I need to be creative. Eventually I will have a percussive section with gongs, a glockenspiel, world drums, bells etc. This may give you an idea of the kind of creativity I want to put into a band. Nothing I use is ever for show!
