Are you a singer/bassist/drummer in Nottingham? Have the Red Hot Chili Peppers shaped your musical evolution to the point where you feel forever indebted to them for being so awesome? Ever wince inside when you see a really bad, soulless Chilis tribute band butchering the classics? This is your chance to redress the balance!
Im putting together a different kind of Red Hot Chili Peppers 'tribute' band and if you really love their music and want to play it with REAL passion, conviction and competence then I'd like to hear from you.
Just a couple of things to mention, the phrase 'tribute band' may be a little misleading. Just to clarify, this has nothing to with if you look like them or just want to dress up like them and/or just get paid, its if you can play or sing like them and have enough love for the funk that you want to recreate the feel and spirit of the Chili Peppers while jamming out their incredible backlog.
Full appreciation of all Chilis music from Blood Sugar Sex Magik to I'm With You (Except One Hot Minute of course...) would be ideal. Anything before that's a bonus!
I'm starting this band mainly for fun and out of a profound love for playing the Chili Peppers music.
