I've played the guitar for around 20 years and have only recently (within the past 5 or so years) settled on the genre of music I enjoy the listening to and playing the most, which is country.
I would like to be part of a country band, starting with covers and maybe writing our own as well. Would be nice to keep it quite authentic instrument-wise - so have a fiddle, banjo and steel guitar rather than keyboards and effects units.
That said, don't really want it to be Kenny Rogers/Dolly Parton type country, looking instead to be more modern - Country/Pop, Country/Rock type music.

I own an AV Production Company and as part of that we regularly supply bands with PA equipment, including:
FOH PA system - RCF or Ohm
Floor Monitors - Mackie or RCF
Sound Desk - Allen & Heath QU24 & QU32
Vocal Mics - Shure (SM58 or Beta58)
Instruments mics - Shure (SM57 or Beta57), For the drum kit - Audix (DP7 kit)
Plus DI's, cables and mic stands.
Guitar-wise, I own and play a Gibson Les Paul, Dean Evo XM and an Encore Electro-Acoustic... preference is the acoustic. Currently looking at purchasing a Takamine P5DC in Whiskey Brown colour.
