My music journey started in the church at the age of 5, where I started playing the drums in church services. I began getting booked for gigs at churches around 15 and have played at over 50 events and venues since.
I then developed into a jazz drummer, having been mentored by many great British jazz musicians. I have since played many jazz gigs, from background jazz for dinners and events to large festivals such as El Dorado, playing jazz fusion originals with one of my bands. I have also participated in many big bands, most notably performing in Birmingham's Symphony Hall.
A large amount of my experience comes from playing function gigs. As a dep, working under pressure, and sight reading charts is second nature.
