Lifelong musician, both live and in the studio. I've been in rock, punk, funk and pop bands, playing covers, originals and even a Jamiroquai tribute. Composer of ambient soundtracks for live theatre. Highlights:
1976 - first gig, coming third in local Melody Maker Rcok Contest
1980-1995 - composing songs and background music for theatre productions
1991-1993 - bass in Jump the Pig, Hull jazz-folk band
2000-2005 - elec gtr /vox, leading electric and acoustic open mic nights with house band in Cumbria
2005-2008 - bass in 4 covers bands in Edinburgh inc Jamiroquai tribute
2023 - bass in rock covers band
2023-2024 - elec gtr/vox in Crater Junk, 3-pc post-punk pop band
2024 - forming new band with Crater Junk drummer and ... YOU?
