ABOUT

Born in Brazil, I discovered my musicality when I was still a child. By 14 I was already playing the drums professionally, as well as composing music and writing lyrics. At 21, I, along my two best mates, formed the band Acidogroove, which won the Dynamite Independent Music Award (the biggest independent music award in Brazil) and became an established name in the independent music scene in the late 2000s, performing at various festivals in the Circuito Fora do Eixo, ending the decade as a reference of Modern Brazilian music.

In 2009, after finishing recording the album "Talvez hoje eu tope um plural" I decided to leave Acidogroove to record my first solo album, where I played all the instruments and co-produced. And a little before moving from Brazil to the UK, the album "SIM" was launched, accompanied by a short regional tour that yielded several positive reviews.

After a hiatus of almost 13 years, I decided to record a new album and kickstart a new project called “Deaf by Sugar”. The album “Werewolf Tales” was inspired by the anime “Beastars”, so it can be considered an “opera rock” since all the tracks are connected by lyrics and songs. All instruments, vocals, lyrics, everything was done and recorded by myself.

Now I am looking to join in a band, it can be a cover band, I miss the stages and playing music in general. I am mainly a drummer but I am also a bass player.
