Hello there,

Due to busy work schedules our current drummer can no longer fully commit himself to the band, so we have decided to start the search for his replacement.

Brief history of the band 'Favour the Brave'. We have been together for well over a year and write all our own songs, with maybe the odd punk cover thrown in for good measure. Myself (Stu) and the bassist (Neil) are in our early 30's and both originally hail from the North East of England, but have been living in Surrey for many years. Our songs are melodic but quite fast paced, so we are looking for someone who can keep up with the various fast beats.

The new drummer does not necessarily need any pressure to write new songs, as the Neil and I are usually writing continuously, but certainly inputs and influences on songs are most welcome. Please bare in mind that we will probably aim to practice during evenings at least once or twice a week in a studio that's likely to be in Woking, or close to that area. So please take scheduling and traveling into consideration if needed.

To give you an idea, some of our influences are bands such as Pennywise, NOFX, The Descendents, Sublime, The Offspring and Green Day's older material.
