Gavner P is an unsigned indie alternative rap artist originally from North Wales. Despite the almost non-existent music scene in his hometown, he has worked entirely independently to make a name for himself and gain fans worldwide.
After building his fanbase by compiling and distributing free promo mixtapes of his work, sampling both national and international artists - he has now released his self-financed 12 track independent debut album “Now or Never”. The singles ’Now Or Never', 'Sacrifice' and 'Roll The Dice' have earned comparisons with the likes of Professor Green and Plan B, not only with his versatility of style and tounge in cheek technique but his charismatic and energetic live band performances in venues around the country
Gavner has also reached the top 10 of Open Mic UK – one of the UK's most renowned unsigned artist competitions – beating over 11,000 contestants and earned the right to perform in front of thousands of people at the O2 Arena in London. He also performs acapella, adapting his lyrics to compete in poetry slams when he isn't touring.
Now based in Manchester, after giving up his life as a fireman to concentrate on his music, Gavner has had his album described by reviewers as “The Pick a Mix of Music Albums”. This lead to iTunes sales in 37 countries around the world and BBC Radio Wales airtime, so it's easy to see why record labels worldwide have taken an interest in Gavner P.
