Hamerex are a heavy metal band based in Wakefield West Yorkshire and was formed in August 2004 by Steve Blower.

The band have released 3 albums to date and have played numerous gigs around the country, including supporting Funeral for a Friend, O/D Saxon, PowerQuest and Conquest of Steel.

Hamerex are an energetic and entertaining live band with a large catalogue of melodic and catchy songs, which are NWOBHM in style as well as delving in to thrash and doom.
