I'm Mike, I've played various instruments in various kinds of bands in the North East for yonks. Had an eight year lay off, getting into other stuff, but this year I've succumbed to the compelling urge to get tooled up again with a couple of mean guitars and an amp - Something's telling me to get back into the fray one more time. Looking for non ageist, out of control bassist, drummer and gtr or keyboard player to do occassional fun gigs, nothing serious, not into a recording career, hard sell etc. just need the adrenaline rush of sweaty gigs and amps turned up to 11.

I need gonzo rock n roll - Iggy & the Stooges, Zappa, Link Wray, Cramps, Pink Fairies, lotsa sweaty noise and classic riffs.

Influences:

Zappa, Iggy, MC5, Beefheart, Johhny Winter, Neil young, Sly & the Family Stone, Dr John. Many 70's punk bands - especially The Pistols, Ruts and Cramps, Ramones, New York Dolls, Banshees, Patti Smith, Richard Hell, Television etc. Also love old blues greats -favourites are Muddy, Wolf, Sonny Boy, Elmore James, Etta James
