Biography

For as long as she can remember Jass has loved to sing, coming from a musical background her mother being a musician by profession. She first discovered her musical aptitude at the age of 5 and performed to audiences as a child . At just 7 she and her family traveled France performing in small venues and on the streets to entertain, she would sing and also play the Irish drum .She wrote her first song at the age of 10 and from here her passion and talent only grew. Deciding in her teens that there was no other path that she would rather travel than that of a performer she started thinking about formal training. She began to teach herself to play piano and read books on voice development. she undertook a BTEC ND in Popular Music in 2003 at Westminster Kingsway college in the heart of London's west end.In This course she studied vocal technique, Song writing, performance, composition, arranging, production and sound recording among many other things . She is always developing her abilities and challenging herself, eager of new experiences, projects and people to work with. Her voice is a powerful tool yet has a subtlety about it that allows for great flexibility and honest interpretation of a variety of different vocal styles. She has been compared to the likes of Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston,Leona lewis Monica and other Diva’s and has an impressive vocal range.
