We are semi professional musicians in our thirties who play in folk rock band Mary Jane; a popular south coast electric folk rock act. We are interested in forming a spin off band ideally a trio for acoustic gigs and recording.

Influences:

We are strongly influenced by 1960s & 1970s music and culture. We love Fairport Convention, Pentangle, John Renbourn Group, Incredible String Band, Principle Edwards Magic Theatre and Roy Harper, as well as bands such as Led Zeppelin, Jefferson Airplane and Ultimate Spinach.

We are looking to explore the acoustic side of our music. As a duo we have female vocals and guitar, bouzouki, banjo flute, recorders and whistles of different sizes and viola. Not to mention just about anything that will make an interesting noise. We have just lost our second female vocalist/instrumentalist and would like to meet a female singer/player who would like to explore hippy, folky, neo classical, baroque, jazz in no particular order.
