I like to keep an open mind in terms of influences, I genuinely believe they can be found anywhere in any genre.
If you want some specifics acts that have made me want to pick up the guitar or try my hand at songwriting I would say Talking Heads, Radiohead, The Shins, Gong, LA Salami, Pixies, Tom Petty, Nick Cave, John Cooper Clarke, Weezer. Also really into Khruangbin & The Utopia Strong at the moment.
