I am an experienced singer songwriter. I began playing in the late 70's following the punk explosion and have been in a variety of bands some that i've set up and some that I've joined. I lived in London for a long time but since moving out (about 12 years ago) I haven't been in a band. My style has mellowed over the years and my singing has improved to the point that I think i'm pretty good at the sort of springsteen, costello type singer and writer stuff. I'd like to find like minded souls to play with, I play mainly my ovation acoustic now but I can play electric if needed. I'd like to play with another vocalist and have always wanted to try harmonies with a woman. I have a small PA and good gear and have recently been playing the odd pub gig on my own, interested to hear from anyone who has similar ideas.

Influences:

Tom Waits, Howe Gelb, Springsteen, Strummer, Lucinda Williams, Lou Reed, Various Reggae artists, Bob Dylan. Old blues and country but I also love soul funk and any music with a groove to it
