We are looking for an experienced keys player with a love for 60's vibe, Hammond centred music. We have a drum/bass/guitar line up with a pretty much ready to gig set list featuring all the greatest hits from Booker T and the MG's plus more - blues/soul instrumentals from Dr John, Freddie King, Spencer Davis Group and well loved film theme classics.
We're not a 'Saturday night pub covers band', but we do have playing opportunities/gigs lined up this year. Would suit someone who is perhaps already in another band as this would not be your main 'show'. If you can improvise a bit round 12 bar blues and can work stuff out by ear as well as read that would be a bonus!
If Hammond sounds float your boat, and you can see yourself fitting in with three ‘50ish’ friendly individuals, one male, two females, please get in touch. We've been rehearsing fortnightly Sunday mornings in Gloucester or Cheltenham. Could be flexible – Sats or Tuesdays also possible.
