I began to teach myself guitar during junior school which I struggled with a lot. I found it very difficult to read music and play along to pre-written pieces of music. However, when I started to teach myself the blues, and use a blues influence when writing metal riffs it all started to piece together. I took music at GCSE, but regrettably after that I had to give up music in my education due to personal issues. I regret not carrying on music at college, however not doing the course certainly didn't stop me messing around with my guitars at home. Too much, some would argue. I enjoy experimenting with metal riffs and just generally trying to have as much fun while playing or performing as possible. I have been in bands before, but none of which would write their own music so I found that it ran a bit dry. I have also taught myself bass, drums and to sing.
