Easy-going Sheffield based band seeking backing vocalist with a large range. We as a band have been active since 2007 with 3 releases, currently recording a 4th full album. We have played gigs across the UK and occasionally in Europe. We see see ourselves as having a hobby which we take very seriously, rather than aiming to go full-time. Any money we make from performances or sales goes back into funding releases, equipment or transport.
We're looking for a female singer, who ideally has a large range. The parts are more than simply supporting vocals, often communicating a large percentage of the emotion, and the harmonies/counterpoints are essential to a lot of the songs. Whilst a classical tone is a bonus, it's not essential and having an easy going personality is more important. Rehearsals are usually one night a week. An example of the range/style of backing vocals can be found in the track above (vocals start around the 2min mark, full range apparent by end of song)
