Searching for experienced musicians who want to create original music. As an experienced drummer, I am not looking to just keep a beat going, but be fully immersed in the creative process and connect with like-minded intuitive musicians.
I am looking to create progressive, dynamic music and find a style that resonates with all members. I don't want to put a specific label to the genre, but I'd prefer it to be a mix of hard rock,experimental, alternative and progressive music. Versatility is key. I'd like all members to play a significant creative role.
I'd like to be fully involved in song writing, music production and any artistic work that is produced. I am keen to get to grips with any software packages and get mixing.
I am looking for people who not only love their instrument, but want to be fully integrated with the band and have ambitions to make music a big part of their lives.
I've been playing the drums since I was 11, and my main influences are from the punk/rock/nu metal/alt era of the late 90's early 2000s. My main influence is blink 182 as I love Travis Barker's style drumming, but I am open to many styles and have recently been playing a jazzy rock style as part of a Jimi Hendrix tribute band.
Aside from drumming, I am pretty easy going and open minded. I run a maths tutoring business and am skilled in a number of areas including software development.
I would like initially to have some informal jam sessions to see how we get on and test any ideas. Please get in touch if this is what you are looking for as well.
