ABOUT

Serious recording Project Seeking Special Vocalist.

Songs, Producer, Band and Funding for Record release all awaiting Special Vocalist for Serious Recording Project following departure of previous singer.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a distinctive voice and a real desire to work hard in practice, and performance. Preferable age range 22 - 32. You must be confident and motivated performer, and be able to make two practices or gigs in central London a week.

You can hear samples of the songs we will be performing and recording at the below myspace. The lyrics will be adapted to suit the gender of the singer, and the instruments added to the band will also be moulded around your voice.

Please include an mp3 or a link to something that you have sung on before.

Please include any details of bands or music projects you have worked in, and details of any additional instruments you play.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT?

We will hold auditions over the next 3 weeks. You will need to learn one or more of the songs from the myspace link above, plus a cover of your choice.

Once we have chosen the singer, we will start off with a few weeks intensive work just with vocals and accoustic guitar, to tailor the songs to suit your voice and style. We will also do some low-key live performances once you are comfortable. We will then start adding the band to rehersals and do a few more performances to get 'recording ready' and book studio time with our producer to work up the the EP.

The studios and producers we are working with are serious professional with big commercial releases on their credits. The band members involved are all experienced live and recording musicians.

The EP when complete will be plugged and marketed professionally for National Radio and Music Press.
