R-AGE NOW! are an exciting, powerful Southampton based band, formed by members of the original Punk generation. The group play orginal material, with a heavy accent on current affairs and state-of-the world aspects. Contributors and members include people who have previously played with Southampton bands such as Strate Jacket, The Squad, Golden Boys Club, The Bushmen, The Men they could'nt hang and others. The group is an element of a unique multi-media project and has management and investment already established. They are currenty rehearsing seriously in central Southampton with a view to recording their first album late in 2008. R-AGE NOW! expect to play showcase and album launch gigs some time within the next six months.

Influences:

The group quote a wide range of influences including original UK and US punk in general, Tamla Motown, The Beatles and The stones, Lou Reed, Bowie, Glam Rock, Physcedelic Furs,The Heartbreakers etc, The Smiths etc...

Members Of Band:

Mmebers of the band include Rich Chorley on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Martin James on drums, Mick Mcrae on guitar and guest contributors such as Paul Simmons on electric Bouzuki, Mandolin and other exotic instruments!
