Music is my life. I am 24, have been playing guitar for 12 years, and whilst I initially was an arrogant Jimi Hendrix/ Jimmy Page, Joe Satriani wannabe, over the last 4 years I have been writing my own acoustic based songs as opposed to egotistical showing off. I therefore consider myself a singer songwriter as opposed to guitarist these days. I have about 20 songs complete with lyrics and everyone has always suggested I get a band together.

A friend of a good friend of mine has heard my songs and has offered to produce songs in a live studio free of charge (he works as a sound engineer): so I am basically wanting to get a band together so we can take this opportunity. However, whilst jamming sessions are great to build musical rapport and chemistry, unfortunately fellow musicians have ended up going travelling or moving back home. Accordingly I am looking for a complete band, but would be comfortable initially jamming with other musicians, building musical chemistry and then adding further members to form a supergroup! I have played the odd open mic night and once or twice played with a band at uni. Thom Yorke and Matt Belamy is a great influence vocally, and I pride myself on writing sophisticated, unique and catchy lyrics.
