ABOUT
Skeleton Crew are a rock band originating from the hair/glam/sleaze genre in the beginning, but quickly took that in a more modern direction. Whilst fans of those genres recognise it in the music they also recognise that there is a difference that gives our music an edge over the other similar stuff out there. For nce, even first time seeing us, they can't help singing along with most songs, and those are the original tracks.
Skeleton Crew has really built up a genuine and loyal following wherever we've played and get regular gig requests from venues around the country. We've been asked to play biker festivals and have some really good gigs coming up next year.
We are lookin to replace our last vocalist who caught a case of 'joining another band without letting us know' syndrome and couldn't commit to being able to be there for all our gigs. We have no preconceptions about what voice we're looking for we just require a good voice, ability to hit the right notes (shouldn't really need to say it but you didn't hear the last guy) and stage confidence. We have a great product to play to the crowds and just need the right person to feed it to them, with a spade if necessary.
we have a myspace which is skeletoncrewuk and has tracks on there to listen to.
We have an album sitting waiting for you to put the vocals on so we can release it. Come on, we can't wait to hear from you.

Influences
Think of bands with hair! lol.
Seriously, between us we have so many influences that it would look ridiculous to put individual ones. However, Love/Hate were influences on all of us at some time and in a previous band most of the members went on tour as main support a few years ago.
Not so much directly influential but influence could be heard in our songs are:
Motley Crue
Bon Jovi
Whitesnake
Thunder
Judas Priest
Iron Maiden
Skid Row
You can see where we are with this. Mix those all together and add a modern slant ad you are somewhere in the right sphere.
