Based in Sevenoaks, Kent, not far from London.

We are a bunch of highly committed musicians writing and recording original material. Check out our soundcloud and youtube accounts to have a listen and a look. We are currently a four piece band, looking to extend to five with the addition of another lead instrument: sax (preferably), piano, violin, or other.

We create songs which are musically developed enough to keep us interested as musicians but catchy enough to get a crowd going at the same time. We currently have acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, drums and vocals. We are big fans of close part vocal harmonies, as well as using dynamics within our songs to really develop mood and atmosphere, whether that be something melancholic or just rocking out. Groove is a major motivator for us.

We currently have a setlist of 10 songs ready to play and more in the back pocket to be developed and finished. Our aim is to play live once everything gets back to normal after Covid, being well rehearsed is so important for the tightness of the band, and to play quality, not quantity. We’re focused at music venues and local festivals, not playing the local pub.

There are many awesome songs out there, so we’re always ready to throw in a cover song or two, putting our own spin on it.

Influences

If it’s got a great groove, melody that won’t quit, or moves you like great music should, then we like it. Our influences are pretty diverse, as we are within the band. We don’t really sound like anyone, and we’re not aiming to copy a band or a genre. However, there are a few bands/artists which have certainly been formative for us as musicians: Dave Matthews Band, Ben Folds Five, John Mayer, Smashing Pumpkins, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Fleetwood Mac, Tool, Pink Floyd, The Police, Rage Against The Machine, The Cinematic Orchestra, Paul Simon.
