Hey - I'm an ex-professional bass guitarist who has played with two signed bands (one indie, one Columbia), and toured the UK (a lot!), Japan and Germany. In my last band, we had a top 5 hit in Japan with Columbia so we toured over there a bit, and released three singles and an album. The band before that was with Andy who went on to drum for Razorlight and We Are Scientists, and Pete who now does The Boy Least Likely To. We were signed to an Indie label in Camden. Second single got four star reviews in Kerrang.
Anyway, I'm getting on a bit now, got a nice 9-5 job but really miss playing with good musicians, so I'm interested in forming quite a challenging, quite heavy band with two (or maybe three) other proficient players into alt.rock. I'm also thinking about putting electronic backing sequences into the mix with my laptop/Ableton setup, so a drummer used to click tracks would be nice.
