Well, that's what you get with The Awakened.

The history of this band is like many others. A group of friends wanting to play music for a laugh and to escape the monotony of modern life got together and jammed. Taking it out on the road in and around Greater London has left us with a taste of rock'n'roll and we want more!

After playing a few fun, exciting, and occaisionally chaotic gigs at the end of '06 the band took a break to find new members following the unexpected departure of the rhythm section (gone but not forgotten, keep the rock rolling guys!). A new drummer was found, and while the search for a bassist continues the show goes back out on the road in '07.

The new line-up has brought new perspectives and fresh ideas into the band. The live show is, if anything even more exciting than before and re-working the old material has made checking the band out again nothing short of a compulsory experience!!!

The future looks bright and The Awakened are keen to prove they got what it takes in this fickle business. One thing's for sure though. We're gonna have fun whatever happens!
