23-10-2009 - LOOKING FOR BASS .....
After a very enjoyable year playing with our great friend & bass player Russ, he is now moving on to solo projects anew & we are seeking a new bass "Cohen Brother" to join our team. If you are looking to play a mix of original material that nods towards Steely Dan, Little Feat and all things 70's & West Coast .... plus a few well chosen covers from the likes of Bruce Cockburn, John Martyn, Nick Drake, Steve Winwood, Traffic, Jess Roden, Marc Cohen .... then get in touch julian_crook or www.myspace/thecohenbrothers We have played some nice pub & festival gigs in 2009 - supported Nearly Dan at The Assembly in Leamington - played a BBC Introducing live session - and released a new studio CD "Moving On" .... in 2010 we'd like to do some more nice things .... perhaps with you !
