ABOUT

I have been singing for pleasure most of my life and come from a musical family. I recently took singing lessons as a gift from my partner and found I had a voice for real (according to my teacher). I love singing and enjoy the challenge of new tracks that push my timing, breathing and vocal techniques.

I am here to see what is out there so I can enjoy my passion more, I have no agenda and practically no ego so if you're into playing varied vocal driven, mainly acoustic and pop tracks and want to try something out with me on vocal then let's see.

I sing everyday, in the house, either along with a track or with the vocals stripped back and am not expecting anything from this enquiry to be honest, but who knows.

Never played a gig but I suppose there a lot of bands out there who haven't played one either.

Influences

Being 51 I have been listening to everything from classical to pop and electronica since the late 70's, my main go-to artists I like to sing are Elbow (a lot), U2 around the Achtung Baby and Zooropa era, early Coldplay, Hozier, Scott Matthews, REM, recently got back into Stereophonics, Another Sky, Smiths.

My taste is varied but I pick up on solid flowing lyrics with a narrative and more often than not a bit of drama and storytelling.
