Experienced drummer required to head up a fresh new classic rock tribute band in the West Midlands area !
Coming straight from an established gigging rock band, three capable and strong guitarists (lead, rhythm, bass) and an excellent lead vox are looking for someone with the ability to bang out rock covers all night.
Our ideal person will be aged around 30-45 and have had plenty of experience of gigging with a band before. A desire to stay for the long term also most welcome.
Once up to speed, we’d be looking to gig or rehearse once a week, most weekends. Gigs would be loosely along the M42 corridor … Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Tamworth, Coventry, Burton, Ashby, and we have a back catalog of venues to tap up for gigs once we’re ready. Aiming primarily for rock and biker pubs, but we’ve been setting our sights higher recently, having played at the Robin2, Diamond and Actress and Bishop ... we have an open invite back to the Robin2.
We’re coming straight from an established, gigging band, playing the likes of Velvet Revolver, Led Zepp, GnR, ACDC, Black Crowes, Ugly Kid Joe, Metallica, Aerosmith, Sabbath, Quo, Little Angels etc … but we want to stress that this is a NEW band, with new members, a new name, and a new set list (all yet to be decided, once we have a full set of band members).
Own equipment a necessity. Own transport also a necessity. Sense of humour and desire for a laugh mandatory !
