Journalist and photographer covering more music genres, mainly blues, folk, jazz and all forms of rock.
WiderViewPhoto is the photography company setup by Chris Roberts in 2002 and has undertaken commissions around the UK and Europe, for arts and music event clients.
He now covers local (Warwickshire / North Cotswolds) and wider Midlands and national arts and music festivals and events.
In 2015/16 he has covered a wide range of commissions including Shipston Proms (a 2 week music festival), Stratford River Festival, Blues at Broom Hill, Art Couture Painswick, Evesham Carnival and Gloucester Rhythm and Blues Festival.
He has had images exhibited in Uxbridge (Brunel University), Acton, High Wycombe, Bracknell, Stratford-upon-Avon, Shipston-on-Stour and Birmingham.
His style is very photo-journalistic capturing the story of your event, with both content and images, as it unfolds by working unobtrusively with speed, precision and professionalism. Most events are also reported on with blogs which are frequently also supplied to local and national media (along with his images).
He loves what he does and he is, for imaging, an active member of several professional groups, both in the Midlands (Stratford Clicks, and Frame Creatives) and nationally (The Societies/SWPP).
