An experimental attempt to integrate dark industrial Reznor-isms into 90s EpiHellFat-style punk rock. We're currently using programmed drums, synths, and samples on a backing track - think the presentation of NIN, Ministry, Depeche Mode, Skinny Puppy, Godflesh, or Big Black - but striving to maintain a foundation rooted in melodic punk rock - stylistically closer to bands like Alkaline Trio, AFI, Bad Religion, Green Day, Ignite, NOFX, Pennywise, or Rancid - although, inevitably, power ballads, heavy riffage, and odd times get in there occasionally. Currently tuned to D standard or occasionally drop C. Recordings also include scrap metal percussion, power tools, and sampled noise, in the vein of Throbbing Gristle, Nitzer Ebb, Einstürzende Neubauten, or even Slipknot*. Metal bed frames, radiators, tables, candlesticks, metal shelving, other bits and pieces. *Can't find a beer keg just yet...
Our lineup currently consists of a rhythm guitarist and bass guitarist, late 20s/early 30s, with professional gear and touring experience between us. Rhythm guitarist is currently also acting as lead vocalist, but we're not opposed to a lead guitar sharing or even taking over that role, but harmony backing vocals are preferred at least if possible.
We've given our drum machine a name, lore, and personality, put him in charge of social media, and represent him live with an expressionless mannequin seated at the drum kit.
EP and singles released, second EP studio recording in progress, newer songs written and demoed, waiting to be arranged and developed. Aiming for a collaborative atmosphere; rhythm guitarist writes most material so far but creative contributions are definitely welcomed.
