Hi there. I'm a Award-Winning London-based American singer/songwriter. I've been working solo for a number of years now - all the tracks you hear on the site are my work alone - and I'm pretty much studio based. While I think my songs are damn good (!), I miss the spark of working with another like-minded musician.
I'm currently looking for ONE PERSON to take this project from being a SOLO ACT to a DUO. I'd love to meet a talented person who is versatile as a producer, multi-instrumentalist and back-up vocalist. If 'the fit is right', it would be brilliant! If I had a magic wand, you'd: have loads of musical ideas and skills to bring to my songs; be happy to rehearse during the day (Tuesday, Thursday daytime or Friday afternoons); be keen to explore ideas and get them down in recorded form; and be open to the possibility of local London gigging, if we both wanted to. You'd also be London based and between the age of 35-55.
As a singer-songwrited, I've been compared to Bjork, Sinead O'Connor, Imogen Heap and Gillian Welch. I was in bands for some years - including performing at CBGB's and on Channel 4 - but have now been doing exclusively solo work in my studio for a while, focussing a lot on commissions. I have recently won some awards for my songwriting - including the UK Songwriting Contest - and have been writing for independent films, as well as pitching for advertising campaigns.
