ABOUT
I have had a lot of experience playing live in various groups at semi professional level;including some festivals and key venues in and around London ,where we usually got a good reception. One of the bands I was in,(Weaver), supported Paul Weller in the late 90's on twelve dates including Victoria Park. I specialise in Lead/rythym guitar (electric or acoustic) with backing harmonies and sometimes lead vocals. I also enjoy playing bass.
I have had experience in songwriting collaborations as well.
I'm looking for a band who want to play live and perform covers and maybe original songs.

Influences
I have many influences so here are just a few: The Beatles, The Who, The Faces, Stax Vault, Steve Cropper, Jimi Hendrix, Pete Townsend, The Jam, Paul Weller, Led Zep,AC DC, The Stereophonics, Joni Mitchell, The Clash...it goes on... I like music with soul, edge and sometimes attitude.
I guess I'm a vintage rocker but I do like young fresh talent as well, as long as it's performed with conviction.
EQUIPMENT
My Equipment is:
Marshall 100 Watt head with 4x12 speaker cab, Marshall 4210 combo amp (all valve),Standard Strat, Samick copy of a Gibson 335 semi acoustic, 1974 Fender Telecaster Deluxe, Yamaha 12 string acoustic, Takamine six sting acoustic (both fitted with Fischman pick-ups),a 16 track Zoom digital recorder and a beat up old Westone Bass.
