Hi, I’m a Lincs native recently moved home. I was formerly in a band (see below). I’m an energetic performer and love to mimic other singers. Currently singing Elvis a lot, but also like to sing Fleetwood Mac, Blondie, Patti Smith, Chrissie Hynde, Gerry Rafferty… all things I was brought up on. Love listening to old rock n roll, bluegrass, any type of folk. Really love to sing any kind of music. I’d like to perform onstage again, whether in band where I’m writing lyrics or singing covers—ample experience with both.
I was lead vocalist/lyricist/video maker/press release writer in a alt rock feminist concept band called Girlboy, but my very talented former band mate has since left music. Tom Robinson said I sounded like Chrissie Hynde. Both our released tracks, “Jennifer Lawrence” and “Girls Won’t Mind” were featured in Tom Robinson’s BBC Introducing’s top ten, for 2014 and 2015.
