Spasmodic guitaring for many years(unlike my brother who can play like Tommy Emmanuel) I tried soloing but have at last persevered with with fingerstyle and have made surprising progress thanks to Gordon Lightfoot's songs.
Al;ways interested in songs but thought I could not sing , but find it worth trying too.

Currently GordonLightfoot is a huge inspiration. Not a rocker but I like melodic pop chords and solos.
Also like Zucchero, Abba, Clifford T Ward, Joe Satriani, Mechanics (Al Hodge) Jeff Buckley, Mark Lettieri , and many others.
