For most of my life as a musician I’ve played music from Latin America. In the past 10 years that’s been mainly on acoustic and electric bass backing up folk and dance bands. I’d like to try my hand at something new. Although I read music, I mostly work with chord charts and/or with chord progressions.

Influences
Latin American and West African rhythms, but most roots music is generally of interest. I enjoy classic rock, reggae, blues, soul and jazz standards but I’ve not been in any such bands.
