I am currently looking to create a band for my current music project. I am a solo artist from the southside of Glasgow and have embarked on the release and creation of my first album beginning last year. I shamlessley tapped in to the zeitgeist of the current pandemic and released a song called 'quarantine without you'. It's a relentless nostalgic pop effort that harkens back to a traditional electronic 80's feel. Since then I have released another 2 singles with more to follow until album completion...
I am looking for a drummer.
Someone who is comfortable perhaps playing with triggers and along to a click. Not always though, but I'm really looking to build a live music experience with 'hits' and 'pops' that may be triggered by midi. Lighting syncing up with the music etc..
A good solid rhythm guitarist who really knows how to get a desirable tone and create epic space with it....
Synth player who really knows his sh*t when it comes to sounds. Playing ability is desirable but equipment and sound creation ability is where it's at....
Solid bass player who is happy to be the backbone of the low end. You may be playing along with bass synths or doing your own thing for certain other tracks....
Quarantine without you was shouted out by Suzie Maguire on nation radio. She is a very big fan of the song and is pushing to give it air time. So fingers crossed. I'm not name dropping or anything, but rather just letting you know that there is a desirable vibe on the go....
In spite of the project bearing my name, I don't want anyone to think that I'm an egotist. All creative input is desirable and enjoyable and I wouldn't dream of not including people in the act as a whole. Any attention or progress made as a unit will be recognized as such...
