I'm a classically trained pianist who started learning jazz over 10 years ago. I've been gigging with a jazz group (from 3-7 players) for a few years now but they are based in Herts. I’m looking to find some local to Muswell Hill jazz musicians either to jam or maybe for small local gigs.
Plus open to jamming with local musicians rock blues, as while I have a long musical training what I don’t have is experience in playing with other musicians, (though this is changing thanks to this site).
I’m available as a background pianist playing light classical and easy listening for intimate events/drinks parties etc
I also offer lessons in piano technique. Either to beginners or more advanced players who are stuck (I use the principles of the Alexander Technique so can offer a new perspective if you are willing to hear new ideas and unpick bad habits).
I have a Yamaha MOXf6 synth/workstation
NB. I have listed flute but it is a long time since I played. It is more something that would be ok if you wanted a brief live flute addition but not much more than that (though tbh if you had me and my keyboard we’d be better off using the flute sounds on my Yamaha!)!
