I am a guitar player of 11 years about to start study at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, in Cardiff. I am looking for a bassist/vocalist/drummer. I am specifically looking for:
- All band members to be committed to rehearsing regularly until we get gigging REGULARLY enough so that we don't have to rehearse (!)
- A band that wants to get gigging A.S.A.P.
- 18+ musicians. (I am 19)
I'm not looking for a band who wants to conquer the world, just a bunch of GREAT musicians who feel like earning some extra cash.
I am interested in playing popular music covers- stuff that would be suitable at functions/weddings, but also the occasional club date, such as rock/soul/motown- no exact plan as of yet. I think whatever the material is, it has to be DANCEABLE!
If you are a bassist and also sing lead- BINGO! The less members we have, the better the money. I will also consider playing bass, if you are already sorted with a guitarist, but guitar is absolutely what I do.
I am looking for professional attitudes and no time-wasters please. Let's get out there and play!
