ABOUT
We have been successfully performing our own material along with a mix of uncommon covers around the usual pub/club circuit. We have however eased up the pace to keep it fun, given our withering years:) however the commitment to getting the music right is unparalleled - we don't meet to chat and drink.
We are now four piece (inc drums) since Shaun Hutch joined us on lead guitar and vocals. I.E. twin lead guitar, two vocals, bass, drums. We meet weekly to rehearse - which is part of the fun. No slogging misery, you do what you do best. We don't invite people so we can tell them what to play; we include them for what they bring. We work methodically prioritising stuff as it progresses.
Instrumentation and musicianship (not a requirement to read, just improvise) are what works for us; and of couse someone who fits in. Whilst we're doing it for fun, the work ethic is professional, the product is tight.
That may sound strict but you get a bit edgy when folk let you down, hell, even apply for a post they've no hope of holding down. If you have communications, transport, gear and talent, please get in touch
