I play in a two piece rock band called MKII. We're starting to get offered a lot of gigs both mid week and weekends that my drummer Andy unfortunately can't play. We decided the best thing to do would be to find someone interested in playing the gigs that Andy can't.
We're looking at playing around 2-3 gigs a week. Any paid gigs would be split 50/50.
I live in Huddersfield and currently have a rehearsal space with Andy's kit, which would be available to practice on. We play a couple of covers but the majority of the set is original material played to a click track for backing and FX control. The drum parts are really fun to play.
