Ancient Champion are a primarily instrumental eclectic blend of Punk, Country, Prog/Psych. 90% of our music is original, drawn from the back catalogue of founder Ancient Champion's 40 years in music.
Following the recent loss of our original bassist, we are looking for someone who wants to perform genre-forming instrumental music that is both laid back, psychedelic with a punk edge.
We eschew the usual pub circuit, preferring to follow in the footsteps of the Velvet Underground playing art gallery shows, with festival appearances such as Lakeside Live, an event run by our drummer Adrian.
