My true passion is playing original music, in which the evolution of a song comes with the pure joy of playing.
If you listen to the two pieces of music, Etal came about after drunken nights at Heatherlaw mill in Northumberland, in drop D, The bass is my Yamaha 6 string, which gives you the range to play some nice chording.
The other Bo'wanya I wrote the tune for a friend of mine, sadly no longer with us, for a play his troop of players were doing at the Edinburgh festival.
I've other work some I'm less proud of, but that's music highs and lows.
