Band to Join.ABOUT
I'm in my late 30s, been drumming for years, with various on/off breaks for work, family, etc.. Think I can safely claim to be a decent drummer, but not really a polyrhythmic prog or mathcore monster if that's what you're looking for. On the look-out for a mostly-originals band, with gigs or fun recording in mind. No delusions of stadium tours, pubs would be grand ;-)
Happy to play lots of different types of music, but straight-up indie, rock or meandering post-rock are a bit boring to drum... so the jazz/prog end of rock (Russian Circles, God is an Astronaut, Tool, ...) or something more dance influenced (Curve, Pale Saints, lots of pop) would be ideal. I'm less picky than that sounds.
I work in Glasgow and live in Falkirk; happy to rehearse weekly anywhere in-between. Own transport, kit, etc. Looking forward to ideas...
