The Bryan James Band is a country rock band based in Hertford. All original material which has been gigged acoustically extensively for the last 12 months acoustically and very well received. (I generally play live 3 to 4 times a week)
Between November and February will be spent recording a self-funded album of 12 to 14 songs - although more will be likely to be recorded and whittled down to that number.
It would be brilliant to find musicians in the Hertford/Stevenage/Enfield area who are up for committing to recording and then subsequent showcases and festivals next year. Promotion of the album will be Chris Country and other Country stations across the UK. Founder member of the band is ex-music business and has contacts which have already been activated and alerted.
It would be great to have a mixture of male and female musicians as I think it adds a different dynamic to the band plus female vocals add depth/texture to the overall vocal sound of the band.

Influences
This is a toughie. Think modern country, but with a definite rock edge - although there are some out and out commercial ballads in the mix. This music will suit players who like to get the most out of their playing and can incorporate a variety of styles.
