We are a fledgling, new band just setting up. We have a singer (myself), drummer and bass player. We had a guitarist but due to health reasons he has had to drop out before we have even got properly started. We're all raring to go but we need a guitarist!
Anna - I've been singing for years now as a nursing home entertainer, but have always wanted to be in a band.
Both Paul (drummer) and Graeme (bass) have extensive experience in playing both in bands and as support musicians for many years.
We are looking to rehearse on a regular basis at a location that's easy enough for us all to get to. And then eventually hit the pub circuit.

Influences
Due to our age range, our main music tastes fall into the 60s - 90s bracket. Between us we have a wide range of influences, but definitely no boy/girl band type music or modern!
So, a bit about us:
Anna - singer: Having sung in nursing homes for years now, I'm itching to branch out into what I've wanted to do since I was a teenager in the 80s and that is to be in a band. Main music tastes center very heavily around the 70s and 80s, but I also grew up on a healthy dose of 50s and 60s music, due to my parents tastes. Being a contra alto, I love singing songs typically sung by men, so love doing Rod Stewart, Paul Young, Tony Hadley, AC/DC, Rolling Stones, Marillion etc etc. But my main female singing heroes/influences are Tina Turner, Cher, Alison Moyet and Annie Lennox. So give me a power ballard and I'm gone!
Paul - drummer: Many years of experience in bands. Being a drummer is what I've always wanted to do. I've had a bit of a break and now I want to get back into it again, so I put out the call and found Anna & Graeme.
Graeme - bass: Too many years to mention playing in bands covering everything from Van Halen and Audioslave through to Gloria Estefan, The Beatles and heaps of Motown. Primarily play bass and double bass but also play keyboards and guitar if required.
