Our bassist has let us know that he doesn't want to gig anymore. We totally respect the decision but obviously that leaves us with a huge gap because we're a four piece. The bass is a big part of the band and we give it the right positioning in the mix so licks and fills can be heard and chords help to fill out songs. We are always keen that there's some free reign and an opportunity to add your own personality to songs rather than being asked to just play root notes and be a part of the back line.
We try and add our own personality to covers and just want to have a good time without taking ourselves too seriously. That said, we practice hard to get the sound right and it's paid off as we're now pretty established on the Wrexham scene and play some small festivals too.
