ABOUT

Aonia is currently seeking a drummer who is creative, passionate, experienced, and able to play to click - with their own equipment and transport.

Aonia is a joint-fronted operatic/progressive heavy metal band. We played Bloodstock Open Air (2018), completed a short European tour, and run our own festival (AoniaFest) in Sheffield.

We've supported bands like Kobra and the Lotus, Leaves' Eyes, Blaze Bayley, and Martin Walkyier's Skyclad. Jo and Mel (vocalists) are credited as backing vocalists on the current Blaze Bayley album.

We released our debut album in 2018 and are currently writing album #2.
